Net Ring
Thanks for your interest in the Soaring Dove Net Ring! I joined this ring in December, 2000 and felt led to take it over when the ring creator, Sandylynn Tabor, could no longer continue leading the ring. I appreciate her allowing me to do so! This ring is a gathering of sites of born-again Christians and each member will also receive a weekly prayer list of requests submitted by the members to the list prayer coordinator, Melody. You will be sent her contact info once your site is admitted into the ring.
The following description from the ring creator Sandylynn will tell you more about her intentions for this ring:
"This ring was formed so that together we might uplift the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. There is a peace that passes all understanding that can only come from knowing the Lord Jesus Christ personally. I pray that through this Net Ring you will be able to see that the Lord loves you and is patiently waiting for you to confess your sins to him and ask his forgiveness. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us. We must then let our lights shine before all mankind by lifting up Jesus to others, that all may know Jesus is LORD of LORDS and KING of KINGS.
"Please read the Net Ring requirements CAREFULLY before submitting your site. Then fill out the submission form below. Your site will be reviewed once it is submitted to the ring queue. Please, before submitting your site, be sure your site meets the ring requirements:
- Your site does need to show that you are a Christian, that you have been born again by the precious blood of Jesus, and it must also contain a statement of faith in our Lord Jesus.
- Sites cannot contain vulgar or offensive language or suggestions, or any content that is contrary to God's Word.
- All site contents must be safe and viewable for all ages. No nudity, no pornography, no adults only sites. If Jesus would not be comfortable on your site, please do not invite the rest of us to visit.
- Remember, just because the world says something is OK, that doesn't mean God has changed his word about it. The Bible has never changed and never will!
"If any member site is found at any time to contain anything I deem ungodly, you will be notified and hopefully a peaceable solution can be found. The ringmaster will review your sites periodically to make sure that all content stays within the rules. Disclaimer: Sites change their content from time to time and I (the Ringmaster) cannot be responsible for all links leading from every site in the ring. I will try to check all things. But if you are in question about a site, my recommendation is DON'T go there.

It's me again, with some quickie instructions that will be familiar to those of you who have joined other web rings. Please save the two animated dove graphics below (Ringdove.gif and Nextdove.gif) and the clouds background (Cloudsdove.jpg) for the ring box to your own hard drive. The clouds background is optional - if your page uses light text colors that would be hard to read on white background, then do not download the clouds graphic, and omit the wording: background=Cloudsdove.jpg. See the two ring boxes below and experiment to see which works better on your page. Put the HTML fragment on your site, following the instructions in the E-mail you will be sent. E-mail me when this has been done and I will check your page and add you to the ring. Thank you, and I look forward to having your site in the ring! God bless.
